My goal is to become more active
as a volunteer in my community
so that I can
put my values into action.
I believe in taking care
of my neighbors and helping people
who can’t help themselves.
I believe this entails more
than just donating money –
it means donating time
and giving of myself.
My first step toward this goal
will be to take local
first response training and
then contacting my local branch
of the American Red Cross to see
how I can help in a
larger capacity.
